5 July: Published “Semiconductor-hydrophobic material interfaces as a new active site paradigm for photocatalytic degradation of perfluorocarboxylic acids” in Journal of Hazardous Materials.

21 April: Published “Synthesis of Petitjeanite Bi3O(OH)(PO4)2 Photocatalytic Microparticles: Effect of Synthetic Conditions on the Crystal Structure and Activity toward Degradation of Aqueous Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOA)” in ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces.

30 September: Invited speaker for the Chemical & Environmental Engineering seminar series at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio

29 August: Started postdoctoral research fellow position at University of Cincinnati in the Chemical & Environmental Engineering department

23-24 August: Hosted two-day symposium at the fall ACS National Conference & Exposition in Chicago, “Developed & Emerging PFAS Treatment Technologies for PFAS“; four members from the Ezra Cates group at Clemson University presented research on how they are addressing PFAS pollution

28-30 June: Attended first AEESP in person (2021 was virtual) at Washington University in St. Louis
